Maya wrap Outing
I begged my friend Dayna for a Maya wrap whilst I was pregnant with Scarlet. And being the dutiful and loyal friend that she is, she bought me one!
It is a beautiful piece of invention – to look at.
I am sorry to say that this was Scarlet’s one and only outing in the Maya. True, she was 12 days old when this picture was taken and ring slings can be difficult with a newborn. I felt like I was folding her in half! And I promise to re-try the Maya now that she is FOUR MONTHS old! Four months man, where did it go?
She now has moderate head control and strong little tummy muscles, so as soon as I get my stuff out of storage, I endeavor to revive the Maya for round two. I’ll let you all know how it goes.
I just realized that I wrote “I’ll let you all know…” in that last sentence. Now that I am in Hill Country Texas that should really read “I’ll let Y’ALL Know”.
