So, if you didn’t already know/find out – we have moved to Texas.
This was always on the cards but fate decided it was time for us to move sooner than we had orignally planned, and that’s cool. I loved California, made some good friends, gained great work experience and of course, it is beautiful there. We lived a couple of blocks from the beach in a quaint little tourist town (think Amity from “Jaws”) and had a good life. But every time I have visited Texas I have adored it.
I like the pace of life, the people, the down-to-earth-ness which, let’s be honest, can sometimes be hard to find in crazy state of CA! And contrary to popular belief the geography here is equally stunning. Texas is a BIG state y’all, it’s not all desert!
So, from now on I am a Texas girl. Expect future posts about my transition and our integration into the Lone Star state.
